This article gives a basic overview of how ISIS works. It mentions information such as who runs it, how they run it and how they make money. It hits the main points and explains why ISIS is so dangerous. ISIS is run much better, is heavily funded, and has much more power than any extremist group before. Some of the people who run ISIS are former Iraqi military officers and some even come from the Iraqi military academy. With this trained leadership, ISIS is well structured and efficient, making them extremely dangerous. This article provides details on how ISIS works WITHIN the group and how they receive their money.

This article is similar to the first in that it expresses the strengths and weaknesses of ISIS. ISIS, through capturing cities and military bases (non-US), has been able to take many weapons, ammunition and even tanks. Not only do they capture these weapons, they also buy them with the¬†wealth ISIS has. Another thing ISIS does well is recruit soldiers into their ranks. Many people, even from overseas, have joined ISIS and many people will continue to join. This article goes on to include one major disadvantage ISIS could have in the future. Due to the brutality of the murders ISIS commits, the Shi’ite Muslims have a high morale and are more willing to fight to the death. This article provides a lot of information about what ISIS does as a group and how they do it.
